They corresponded for about 10 days before he suggested they meet when he was next in the US. <br />"When I spoke to him he told me he had separated from his wife, that they were living separate, that they were going to court, that they were getting a divorce," she said. <br />She said she spent three days with Dr Edelsten at the Hard Rock Hotel on March 16, 17 and 18. His lawyer denied they stayed in the same room, stating Dr Edelsten stayed at another venue but visited the woman daily. <br />Both Dr Edelsten and the woman say the encounter was not physical. <br />"But if I had let it, it would have got physical," she said. <br />Dr Edelsten had left Australia in March after a domestic incident with Brynne, when police were called to their innercity apartment. <br />The Herald Sun has seen numerous emails between Dr Edelsten and the woman over a period of several months, and heard messages left by Dr Edelsten on the woman's mobile phone. <br />In April, Dr Edelsten denied he was active on the sugardaddyforme website, claiming an obsessed former lover had created the profile. Yesterday, Mr Webb confirmed Dr Edelsten had met the woman on a different dating site. <br />He said the woman owed Dr Edelsten up to $9000.
