Honestly. I bought a wallet from Walmart of all places, for $10 a few years ago. And it is still in pristine condition. I only planned for it to last me until it inevitably came apart (cause its from Walmart, right?) and then I would buy a 'better' one from Coach or Michael Kors, but it never messed up. It looks great. I think it has more to do with the person using the item than the item itself.
If the stitching is all messed up and the purse looks and feels cheap and costs next to nothing, then I mean, you can get a sense of how long it will last. A mid price purse from a reputable company and retailer should last well. I read the reviews to see how well the item holds up vs price. I would rather have 2 mid price purses than 1 super expensive one.
Stephanie, I always get them from Walmart (impulse buy during grocery trip)! They can be really cute but the lining will rip. My mom has gotten me two from Penny's for Christmas before and I figured they'd last because they weere more expensive but they didn't last either.
Ironically, I purchased a wallet from wal mart at least 4 yrs ago and hought it would not last but I still have it and it's fine! Is yours white with like a black damask pattern?
MIL got me a Michael Kors purse for Christmas this year but it's SO heavy before I even put anything in it! It also is more of a tall rater than wide so it's not easy to put all my crap in and find that easily.
